Nestled in the heart of historic downtown Chambersburg is one of the area's most beloved treasures. Rediscovered and continually renovated since 1996, the Capitol Theatre is home to the performing arts in all of Franklin County. The Chambersburg Community Theatre and the Chambersburg Ballet Company call the theatre their home and with a number of performances by the Chambersburg Council for the Arts and the Cumberland Valley School of Music, the storied building is busy almost every week of the year.
